Thursday Night Market
Join every Chicoan downtown for the Thursday Night Market. There are hundreds of booths and vendors that are ready to sell their locally grown and created food, drinks, art and more. So make a plan to go downtown Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. to soak up the local culture.

Friday Night Concert
This is the 38th series of Friday Night Concerts where you get to experience live, local and free music. Located in the Downtown Plaza from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Below are the bands that are scheduled to play in July.
7/10/15 Rube & the Rhythm Rockers - Blues, Boogie & Swing
7/17/15 Tom & Jerry - Alternative Rock
(NOTE: Los Caballitos de la Cancion were scheduled to play this date but they had to cancel.)
7/24/15 Old Spice - 50s/60s Rock, Country, Folk
7/31/15 Los Papi Chulos - Latin Jazz/Afro-Cuban Salsa/Latin Jam
Slice of Chico
Like cool watermelon on a hot summer day? Then put Slice of Chico on your family’s calendar. Shop the local businesses with discounted prices. Thousands show up for this annual event so make sure that you don’t miss out. This free event is Saturday July 11, 2015 starting at 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Just remember to dress for hot weather and slather on the sunscreen!
