Now that it's springtime and the weather is beautiful, we are more inclined to go outside, enjoy the sunshine and be active. What better way to take advantage of living in Chico than to attend a few of the local events? Check out a few of the events that are taking place this month.
In the mood for a good laugh? Then put the second annual Chico Comedy Festival on your calendar for April 23rd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Chico City Plaza. For more information, call (530) 592-5250.
This two-day event is April 23rd and April 24th and includes live music, beer garden, food trucks, and of course the bike ride. For more information along with registering, check out the event website.
This music event at the Downtown City Plaza is a two-day event. It begins Friday April 29th at 1:00 pm and ends at midnight and again on Saturday April 30th at 1:00 pm and ends at midnight. Come join the Youth with a Mission for some good music and fun.
Go downtown on Thursday nights to soak in the local culture by enjoying the free entertainment, viewing the art of local artists, consuming delicious food from local farms and so much more. This popular event is finally back in season and will continue until the middle of fall.
