Santa Arrives at the Chico Mall

A fun event is planned with 100 goody bags for the first 100 children followed by free crafts and performances by The Jingle Bellas and Full Force Dance Company. Every child will receive a gift from Santa. The arrival will be followed by a special train ride with Santa!

5K run/walk at the One Mile Recreation Area in Bidwell Park
Our community has faced incredible devastation and we believe that now more than ever we need to come together to help those who are in need. We invite you to continue this strong local tradition in support of the Jesus Center's ongoing efforts to fight poverty and homelessness. In the months to come it will be needed more than ever.
Christmas Preview & Tree Lighting

4 to 8 p.m.
Downtown Chico will be hosting many activities to raise funds on the night including a portion of proceeds from sales being donated to directly benefit victims of the fire. With the help of our Downtown Businesses and the community, hopes are to raise more than $20,000 for victims of the Camp Fire.
Participating Businesses will be donating up to 10% of sales from the evening. There will also be bracelets with #ButteStrong and #Rebuild printed on them for sale at participating business with 100% of the proceeds donated.
Local non-profits will be there offering support, information and hot cocoa, and Santa will be in town to take photos with the kids.
Believe - Inspired by the Polar Express

Believe is an original production inspired by the children's classic book The Polar Express. Created, produced and directed by brother and sister team Sarah Schneeweis and Jeff Schneeweis, this family-friendly holiday experience takes you on a journey to the North Pole with music and dance, all performed by members of our local community. Performing for its sixth year, this performance will ignite your senses, thrill your imagination, and recall your faith!

With our local community devastated by the Camp Fire, so many have lost so much, including our family, friends, neighbors, employees and so many more.
