Do you live in an apartment complex that cares about its residents? At several of our Living in Chico Properties we have Caring Community Teams that strive to provide an environment where you meet your neighbors and have fun doing it!
What are Caring Community Teams?
Creating Caring Communities is a non-profit that takes pride in creating strong communities in our city. We want you to be able to feel a sense of community when you decide to live in one of our properties. In 6 of our properties, we have Care Teams that spend 15-20 hours a week organizing and planning activities, giving to fellow neighbors in need, or greeting people who are moving into the complex. These activities include movie nights, bbqs, sushi night and more!
Bingo Night at Amanda Place Apartments
As an Amanda Place resident, I was able to attend our Bingo night that was organized by Jason and Bridget (our Caring Community Team). I walked into the clubhouse at Amanda Place and was greeted with smiling faces and excitement that I was attending my first event. Before I sat down with my game face, I served myself a plate of nachos that Jason and Bridget prepared!
Then Bingo began after we were given some time to eat and settle into our tables. There were roughly 15 people anxiously waiting to begin as we stared at the table with the prizes on them. It wasn't long until the first "Bingo!" was yelled and the excitement grew. We all had a great night and I even walked away with a Cold Stone Creamery gift card.
I love living at Amanda Place and I will keep on attending my Caring Community events. Do you want to live in a Living in Chico property? Check out the apartment comparison below and contact us for a tour!
