Happy 4th of July!
Fireworks, the one event that captures the attention of all ages. It’s the time of year to celebrate Independence Day together and gather as a community to watch the dark sky light up in magnificent colors. The feeling of unity and patriotism it brings to a town is remarkable. Do you remember as a child gathering the kids around your neighborhood and then walking to the end of your street to watch the fireworks? Everyone waited in eager anticipation for the first “boom” followed by an eye opening display of colors.

What: Independence Day Fireworks at the Forebay

There are 3 great locations to enjoy the show: The North Thermalito Forebay and Aquatic Center, the Nelson Sports Complex, and the South Thermalito Forebay.
When: Thursday, July 4 - Fireworks start 30 minutes after sunset

What: County Fireworks Show
Where: Best viewing locations are from the South Main Street areas or the Red Bluff River Park
When: Thursday, July 4 - Fireworks will begin after 9:30 p.m.
Fourth of July in Paradise
