Before you even go visit a property for a tour, you probably type it into Google to check it out as a sort of virtual spy. Or you type in a term like “[Chico apartments](https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=chico+apartments&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8)” to see what comes up. But what made you type that term or property into the search bar in the first place? A TV or radio commercial? A billboard you saw driving down East Ave? A recommendation from a friend? Something triggered your search. We’d like to think that it was all of the above that just kept screaming “HignellRentals.com” to you. Whatever way you found us, you’re here and we want to tell you what sets us and our properties apart. ## Caring Communities When you move into a new apartment in Chico it can be difficult to meet people, especially if you have a busy schedule or work unusual hours. It’s easy to get into a routine of just coming and going and never meet other people in your complex. At Hignell Rentals we understand this, which is why many of our apartment complexes focus on intentionally organizing activities so you can meet your neighbors. Currently we have [Care Teams](https://www.cccteams.org/meet-our-teams/) at the following complexes: - Amanda Place - Forest Avenue - Lassen Villa - Sterling Oaks - Sheridan Square - Train Station - Tuscan Villa (located in Oroville) When people live in community they just feel safer. It somehow gives us peace of mind when we recognize each other and say hello and good-bye when passing. At Hignell Rentals we care about connecting, not just having a place to live. **“The Caring Community Team and Program has given me a reason to socialize with others in the community and have something to look forward to” *- Forest Avenue resident*** ## Rental Resources Hignell Rentals isn’t just a place to search for an apartment. It’s also a[ resource](https://www.hignellrentals.com/rental-resources/) that gives you rental living tips and updates on what is happening in the Chico Community. Our blog and website offers information on everything from packing and moving to the latest happenings and where to go in Chico to organizing and decorating tips. We don’t want you to be forgotten once you move into your apartment, because that’s when the adventure really begins! ## Staff & Management HignellRentals.com (formally known as Living in Chico) is an extension of The Hignell Companies, which means it shares the same values and vision to create caring communities that transform lives. The management and staff are committed to open and timely communication when you have a question, and providing you a competent answer. They are also conveniently available when you need them, and they’re friendly and approachable too. At Hignell Rentals we are your home for Northern California Rentals. If you’re searching for a new place to call home, check out our vacancies below or take a virtual tour to see which apartments appeal the most to you.
