Deciding where you should live next is a big deal, and it can be easy to overthink it and feel like you are going to second guess your every move. These are only a few of the reasons why you should be using Hignell Rentals for your next apartment search. We are here to help make your apartment search easy, convenient, and dare we say it, enjoyable. Here are a few tips for using Hignell Rentals for your search. ## Tip #1: Write Down the Essentials Many people start their apartment search without having an understanding of what they need. This includes amenities, location, and even what their budget is for a deposit and monthly rent. So always start your search with writing down everything that [you need your apartment to be](https://blog.hignellrentals.com/make-a-list-and-check-it-twice-when-searching-for-apartments)  or what you need it to have. Write down a few things that you would like to have but aren’t necessarily a necessity. This will make looking at your apartment options less overwhelming when you know what you need out of a potential apartment complex. ## Tip #2: Search Through Apartments Searching through our apartments is a breeze. Our beautiful Chico and Redding apartment complexes are represented on our websites with pictures, video tours, amenities list, layouts, and so much more to help you see what each complex has to offer. Unlike looking through ads on Craigslist, you don’t have to worry about bouncing from listing to listing. Navigation on our website brings ease and convenience to viewing the different complexes. You won't have to worry about potentially getting lost on our website because it is easy to browse through. ## Tip #3: Look at Availabilities Once you find a few of our Hignell Rentals apartment complexes, it is time for you to see what unit availabilities are listed. This will also help decipher which complexes you should apply to. You can easily find the availabilities by scrolling down on your desired apartment complex until you see "Vacancies." If there aren't any current availabilities, check back as we are constantly updating our listings.  ## Tip #4: Download Our Free eBooks To help you make the application process easier than it already is, we recommend you download the "[Quick Steps for Applying Online for HignellRentals.com](https://blog.hignellrentals.com/hubfs/HR/Docs/eBooks/Quick-Steps-for-Applying-Online-at-HignellRentals.com.pdf)" eBook. It's a free pdf that lists out everything you'll need to fill out the online application, along with a step-by-step guide and screen shots to help you be prepared when the time comes to apply. Then it's time to fill out your online application. That’s right, you don’t have to worry about going to each apartment complex office that you wish to apply for, which makes this process super convenient and time saving for you. Any time, day or night, you can fill out your application to get that process started. *Important note: Each rental vacancy requires a separate application and each application has a fee. For example, if you find three apartment units you’d like to apply for you will need to complete a separate application for each rental. * ## Get Your Chico or Redding Apartment Search Started! What are you waiting for? Grab a pad of paper and pencil and make your necessity list. Then hop online to search for [apartments at HignellRentals.com](https://www.hignellrentals.com/). Once you take control of your apartment search with these tips and our easy-to-navigate website, stressing out about the whole process will be a thing of the past.
