When I followed the line to the kitchen I was greeted by Bob and Lana Leahey. They are the Care Team for [1661 Forest Ave.](http://blog.livinginchico.com/blog/bid/249699/1661-Forest-Avenue-Offers-Peaceful-Apartment-Living) and have been rockin’ it since January of 2015. Bob and Lana value the relationships they have with the residents of 1661, evident through the exchange of smiles and knowing them on a first-name basis. ![Group_of_Kids_drinking_milkshakes](https://blog.hignellrentals.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/GroupofKidsEatingMilkshake.jpg "Group_of_Kids_drinking_milkshakes")There was a table full of different candies, sprinkles and fruit that the eager participates chose to put in their shakes. The line led to the kitchen where 3 blenders were blaring - but that didn’t stop the conversation or laughter. This event had a turnout of 60 people! The ice cream was flying and the milk pouring to create individual milkshakes that was made to their liking. Sounds delicious right?!
