Living in Chico properties have a lot to offer, and we would like to show off an important aspect of our complexes. Our managers and staff, who work hard to ensure that they are providing a safe and beautiful place to live that also helps foster relationships within the apartment complexes.
Meet Jackie Rushing
Jackie has been living in Chico for the past 5 years and aside from the heat, she loves everything about Chico. Jackie’s favorite thing to do in Chico is to try new restaurants. This town is known for its locally owned restaurants that are delicious and fun to try! Her favorites are La Cocina Economica and old faithful Sierra Nevada.
She has been working at Amanda Place Apartments for 3½ years. She makes knowing her residents a priority which allows relationships to grow at her complex. Having conversations outside of the normal “your rent is due” or “I have a maintenance issue” is important to any complex manager. When residents see Jackie around the complex they are welcomed with not only a warm smile and “hellos,” but they will have an interaction with somebody who cares.
The main things that Jackie thinks set LIC apartments apart from other apartments in Chico California, is the beautiful clubhouse, the well maintained grounds and the Caring Communities Teams. The clubhouse at Amanda Place has free Wifi internet, a comfortable living room, provides breakfast on Wednesdays for residents and more! The Caring Communities Teams welcome new residents with move-in baskets that have drinks and snacks, and organize weekly events for residents. Jackie’s favorite Caring Communities Team event is Bingo. This event normally brings around 25 residents to the clubhouse!
