This free and fun event is great family entertainment. Concerts are located in the plaza every Friday night until September 8th. So grab your lawn chairs and the family and head downtown! The concert starts at 7 p.m. and normally goes until 8:30 p.m. The bands are local and you'll hear different styles of music, from classic to reggae.
This Chico classic has every local excited for farm fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, flowers and more! The entertainment and laughs are a plenty. The Thursday Night Market is every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the streets of Downtown Chico. It’s free to walk around and browse but we know you will tempted to buy not only delicious food but also the gorgeous crafts and art that is created by local artists.
Chico Celebrates Harvey Milk Day
To celebrate influential Californian Politian Harvey Milk, there will be a free ceremonial event hosted at the Trinity United Methodist Church. There will be refreshments along with informational booths from local organizations. The ceremony will include a performance by the Slow Theater and a proclamation by Councilwoman Tami Ritter. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the ceremony begins at 6 p.m.
