Chico Ice Rink in the Plaza is back for the '22/'23 winter season! Opening night is Thursday November 17th, and you can skate all the way until January 9th. For details and hours click here. General admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children, and you can even rent ice skates! There are also warm drinks and snacks available.
Do you hear what I hear? Yup that’s right Christmas Preview is November 20th from 4 to 8 p.m. This annual event is held downtown amongst the local stores that begin decorating for Christmas. Take souvenir photos, enjoy hot coffee and treats, participate in Christmas Karaoke, donate toys to the Santa’s Sleigh Toy Drive, and more!
This is the 17th annual Run for Food event that happens on Thanksgiving Day in our very own Bidwell Park. This fundraiser raises money for the Jesus Center to help give local families hope in their time of need. To find out more information on the race or to register visit Run for Food.
