When you are done vacuuming your carpet, use one of those fancy attachments on the hose and take it to your blinds. Vacuum your blinds from side to side, then vacuum them from top to bottom. This will help you get all of the dust and dirt that easily collects to the plastic. Be careful with the pressure that you put on the blinds because they can easily bend and break.
If you are looking for a deep down clean and don’t mind spending a little bit more time on cleaning your blinds, then grab the disinfecting wipes. You will use these to gently wipe the dust off of each slat. With this method, you will go from side to side. Be gentle with your pressure to prevent bending and breaking.
Don’t want to spend money on disinfecting wipes? Then grab a few rags, white vinegar and water. In a bowl put equal parts white vinegar and water. Grab a rag and get it damp with the solution. Wipe down each slat gently like above. Make sure that you aren’t leaving cloth particles behind on the blinds. If you do find remnants of the cloth on the blinds when you are done, then wait until the solution is dry and take a clean duster to the blinds. You'll end up gently dusting off the cloth.
