It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Downtown Chico as businesses start preparing for the 36^th Annual Christmas Preview coming up this Sunday, November 24^th from 4 to 8 p.m. Get your spirit merry and bright by bringing your entire family – or even better your neighbors living near you in Chico rental properties too – and enjoy the tradition of holiday hospitality in Downtown Chico.

 

The Tradition of Holiday Cheer Begins Here

 

The Downtown Chico Christmas Preview is always scheduled the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving. It’s a great way to get you and your early Thanksgiving guests out of your Chico rental properties for a festive evening. The downtown businesses debut their beautiful holiday decorations and gift ideas, as well as provide special entertainment and refreshments.

The Christmas Preview is organized by the Downtown Chico Business Association and sponsored by the City of Chico, Tri Counties Bank, PG&E, and Hupp Signs, Inc.

 

The Downtown Festivities Living in Chico

 

Special entertainment and performances will grace Downtown Chico delighting attendees with sights and sounds in anticipation of the holidays. They will ignite your holiday spirit that will follow you all the way home to your Chico rental properties. Attractions include:

 

• Santa Claus at his station located on the corner of Third Street & Broadway (4:30-7:30)
• Strolling carolers compliments of The Children’s Choir of Chico, Sounds of the Valley and the Bidwell Generals
• The Yule Logs are a local favorite and will be performing on Main Street.
• Christmas Karaoke provided by Mix 95.1
• Horse-drawn carriage rides provided by TJ Farms Carriage Company
• The Salvation Army Bell Ringers
• Chico Firefighters Association Adopt-a-Family toy drive
• Sneak peek into the new holiday production “Believe”
