Are you ready to celebrate Halloween? Well at Living in Chico we have already started the festivities! We have monthly events that promote building relationships with your neighbors. But how do we do it?
Caring Communities
Here at Living in Chico, we want our apartment complexes to have a sense of community. Creating Caring Communities is a non-profit program that does just that. We want our residents to not just live at one of our properties, but to feel like they are a part of something greater. In 6 of our properties, we have Care Teams that spend 15-20 hours a week organizing and planning activities, giving to fellow neighbors in need, or greeting people who are moving into the complex. These activities include movie nights, bbqs, bingo night and more!
Costume Party at Lassen Villa Apartments
When walking into the clubhouse at Lassen Villa apartments, the residents were greeted by Sara and Joshua Winton. They were preparing the food for all who attended the party. There were taquitos, chips and dip and even a fruit salad! While everybody settled in the clubhouse it wasn’t too long until the gabbing among neighbors and eating food began.
Then came time for the raffle! People who came in costume received an extra ticket. Among our presence we had Disney princesses, Batman, Spock from Star Trek and Jason from Friday the 13th. The raffle gave away gift cards from Starbucks. What better way to celebrate Halloween or the arrival of fall than a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate!
If this is the type of Caring Community event that you would like to attend with great residents that love conversation and a good time, then check out Lassen Villa online. We have pictures, a video tour and more to learn about this wonderful complex.
