It's October which means its time for pumpkin patches! 

To make your life easier this harvest season, we did a little Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo magic and found all the patches in the Chico area that are open this year!

Now it's time for you to take a trip and find your own magical pumpkin to proudly display in your apartment. 

Below is a list of the 5 best Pumpkin Patches to visit in and around Chico, CA this fall:


Autumn Fest 2023 at the Patrick Ranch

Date: Open Every Weekend October 7th-29rd

Time: 10am-4pm

Place: 10381 Midway, Between Chico and Durham

Visit the historic Patrick Ranch for an afternoon of fun on the farm! Complete with hay rides, pumpkin patches, children's activities, pumpkin sales, Glenwood House tours, gift shop and much more! Click here to visit their website for more info!

TJ Farms 

Date: Open From Saturday October 7th - October 31st (As long as pumpkins are available)
You can give them a call @ 530-343-2294 for the current pumpkin status!

Time: Monday and Tuesday: Closed

Wednesday-Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For Large Groups: Call for appointed time 

Place: 3600 Chico Avenue, Chico Ca, 95928

Price: Free Parking, Pumpkin Cost ($8-40, depending on the size)

Hop on over to the beautiful TJ Farms Estate to explore the pumpkin patch, take a wagon ride, pet the farm animals, crack corn, stroll through the country store, see a 1800 blacksmith shop, or pack a picnic to share with your favorite people. Book Family Farms

Date: October 1st - October 31st

Time: 9am-6pm, Tuesday through Saturday

Place: 153 Heavy Horse Ln, Durham, California 95938

Country Pumpkins 

Date: October 1st - October 31st

Time: 10am-6pm, Everyday 

Place: 7152 CA-32, Orland, California 95963

Price: Free Parking, Free Hay Pyramid, Free Petting Zoo, Pumpkin Cost ($1-50, depending on the size), Corn Maze $5 per person (children under 4 free), Haunted Maze $15 per person, cash Only-(no one under 10yrs old) 

This is the place for corn mazes (both normal and haunted)! They also have the classic pumpkin patch with a petting zoo. Climb the hay pyramid, take a trip down the slide, or visit the country store. L&T Farms

Date: Pumpkin season opens Oct. 6!

Time: 

  • Fridays 2 pm. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
